What is a Service Day?

Purpose
A LeadUp Service Day is a meaningful, intentional experience designed to positively impact both community partner organizations and LeadUp teen boy members. Service Days are core to LeadUp’s mission of fostering leadership, empathy, and self-awareness through service.

A LeadUp Service Day is a hands-on, experiential learning opportunity that engages a meaningful number of teen boys in sustained, multiyear partnerships with community organizations across Metro Atlanta. These experiences are intentionally designed to create positive community impact, foster leadership and self-awareness, and challenge boys through a thoughtful balance of accessible and uncomfortable moments, all within a safe, well supervised environment.
